Business-minded and entrepreneurial, Sam Michaels is an Ontario-accredited attorney and the founder of Canada Legal Help, an online Access to Justice initiative designed to connect Canadians to legal information and resources free of charge.
With a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and a Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School, Sam articled with Legal Logik Inc. in Montreal, Quebec, helping business clients protect their interests and achieve their aims while bridging the gap between Quebec and Ontario.
After his second year of law school, Sam launched Canada Legal Help, with the goal of dispelling the mystique and complexity of the legal system. CLH is an online point-of-access through which any Canadian can orient themselves to understand how to solve their legal issue, and what services are available for their specific needs.
Since his admittance to the Ontario bar, Sam has been working with Legal Logik as the firm plans its national expansion, while also developing the next phase of Canada Legal Help. In his capacity as a lawyer, Sam works with companies to develop their contractual foundation and establish their corporate structure, as well as working with both employers and employees in a variety of employment law matters.
